AMPEX MM1200 UNI-RELAY RETROFIT PCB
The TONECRAFT UNI-RELAY PCB is our DIY friendly solution for retrofitting the AMPEX MM1200 Tape Machine switcher board with modern, readily available relays. New relays will drastically improve the functionality and reliability of your machine. Each channel of your machine will require 3 of these relay PCBs for each switcher board. 48 qty is needed for a 16 track and 72 qty for a 24 track but pcbs are sold in any qty with no minimum. We are selling the PCB only. This is a mid-skill level DIY project. Additional parts are required to complete each board including relays, pins, connector and shunts and may be purchased separately from common vendors such as Mouser and Digikey. July 2025 additional parts cost per assembled relay is approximately and subject to change $5.50 for K2 (one relay per board) and $7.50 per K3 or K4 (two relays per board). We include a detailed bill of materials with part numbers, vendor details, assembly instructions and a custom assembly jig PCB.
